                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 800
                   BLOCK OF OAK STREET, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST
                   LINE OF OAK STREET AT PALMETTO STREET, FROM R-3
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4 SPECIAL ZONE, SUBJECT
                   TO A CONDITION.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
        
                Lots 36-40, block 4, Fort Wood Addition, as shown
                by plat of record in plat book 1, page 4, ROHC;
                being the properties described in deed book 1785,
                page 394, ROHC, deed book 1840, page 637, ROHC, and
                a tract for which no deed was located.  Tax Map No.
                146A-D-37, 38, and 39.
               
               
         from R-3 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone, subject to
         institutional use only for UTC.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
